A Positive Thought to Start Again

A little luck certainly never hurts. But luck alone is never enough. It takes consistency, the ability to recognize the right opportunities, and the willingness to take calculated risks. Above all, it requires the determination to never stand still.

Good morning everyone, and welcome back!
I would like to begin by revisiting a topic that is particularly important to us: continuous improvement.
Any company that wants to remain competitive and continue growing must have the courage to look ahead, invest, and constantly improve.
Of course, this is not always easy. There are times when the business environment is more favorable and others when conditions become more challenging. But from our perspective,

standing still has never been an option.
Investing means making choices, setting priorities, and accepting a certain degree of risk. It means believing that every step forward—whether large or small—can make a meaningful difference.

Let me share an example from our own experience.
At the beginning of this year, as some of you may remember, we relocated and fully commissioned our new assembly department at our Assago facility. It has now been operating at full capacity for several months, and our initial assessment confirms that it was a highly strategic decision.
It is easy to say that in hindsight, some might argue.
But that is not the point.

If we had waited until we had absolute certainty that the investment would generate a return, we would most likely never have moved forward.

Relocating and expanding an assembly department required a significant financial commitment. It meant reorganizing production flows and internal processes, challenging long-established habits, and, above all, accepting the risk of moving ahead without any immediate guarantee of success.

The reality, however, is that had we not made that decision, today we probably would not be in a position to manage a large and demanding project that we recently secured—one that will keep the new department fully occupied for many months to come.

Had this opportunity arisen just two years earlier, we would have had to decline it because we simply were not sufficiently structured or organized to handle it.

Naturally, this is only one example, but I believe it reflects our approach to business.
We did not take this step lightly. Our decision was driven by years of work developing our complete assembly solutions and by the awareness that our previous facilities had become too limited to support further growth.

Just one month after the new department became operational, we received a major order with a production schedule extending over a year and a half.

Was it luck?

Perhaps. To some extent, certainly.

But not only luck.

Because luck alone is never enough.
Success also requires consistency, the ability to recognize the right opportunities, and the willingness to take calculated risks. Above all, it requires the determination to keep moving forward.

That is, in my opinion, the most important lesson.
It is not simply about making the right decisions; it is about the mindset with which those decisions are made.

Keep moving in the right direction. Believe in the choices you make. Stay proactive. And never allow discouragement to stop you.

Welcome back, and I wish you all a productive and successful return to work.

Value Beyond the Product: Why Telling the Story Makes the Difference

In the world of precision mechanical manufacturing, what truly sets a company apart is not just the finished product, but everything behind it: process quality, technical support, inspection, technology, and vision. Yet much of this value often goes unnoticed. That is why, today more than ever, companies need to communicate it—even in highly technical industries.

How, When, and To What Extent Can We Trust AI?

The real strength of artificial intelligence lies in its ability to compensate for the natural limitations of human beings. The sooner we understand its strengths and learn how to leverage them, the better. AI is a tool that enhances human expertise—not a substitute for it.
