Today I’m going to talk about us, about MICROingranaggi<\/strong>. As usual in fact, at this time, we are focussing on the events of the year that has just ended and on how we are organizing ourselves for the future.
\nPending Assiot<\/a> publishing the official data about our industry, we are pleased to see that<\/p>\n

MICROingranaggi ended 2016 with a +22.6% increase in sales compared to 2015, so very close to 6 million euro. Of this, approximately 12% was attributable to the aeronautical industry.<\/h2>\n

Once again a very important factor related to investments.
\n2016 was the year of investments in the gear teeth department<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0boosted with two new EMAG Koepfer 160 CNC gear cutters as the production capacity of our workshop had by then reached its limit and because the delivery times imposed by the market are becoming increasingly tighter. This progressive increase in productivity is leading us to also consider more seriously replacing the current washing system with a new larger machine (with double or even triple capacity).<\/p>\n

And that’s not all. The MICROingranaggi fleet of machines has now been optimized. Having said that, thanks to the increase in requests for the supply of grinding worms, we have decided to launch an experimental phase which will last 12\/18 months. If this test phase, which will require an investment of some tens of thousands of euros, is successful, we might be able to consider more seriously a further new investment dedicated to this type of work.<\/p>\n

In addition: we are considering the purchase of an automated warehouse<\/strong> to further improve space management, orders and the procurement of certain materials (including tools). Finally investments during the current year could even involve the R&D department. In order to improve the software equipment of the technical department, we are in fact considering purchasing a new program for the calculation and sizing of new concept gears<\/strong> that would be complementary to the existing one.<\/p>\n

With a view to meeting you at the trade fairs – this year we will in fact be returning both to MECSPE<\/strong><\/a> in Parma and to SPS IPC Drives<\/strong><\/a> in Nuremburg \u2013 and to show you live some of our solutions, I’ll end here with this short video clip.<\/p>\n
